  3. Add in all the veggies, tomatoes and green peas and fry for 2 minutes. Add in the Tamarind paste and sauté.
  4. Add in the masala powder and mix well. Now add in the washed rice and dal to it and add required amount of salt. Add the water and a spoon of ghee and pressure cook it for 2 whistles.
  5. Allow the pressure to release and mix it up. Serve it hot with Aloo chips and Kara Boondi or Appalam.
