  6. When the raw smell of the ground paste is gone and the gravy becomes thick, add the fried veggies and give a quick mix. If required, add 1/2 cup of water. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Beat together fresh cream and curd. Pour onto the gravy, give a quick mix and turn off stove. Do not boil after this step.
  8. Adjust salt. Add sugar to balance taste. Garnish with a handful of chopped coriander leaves and just a pinch of garam masala.
