In a deep vessel, put oil, and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and chana dal. Cooked rice and green peas mixed with cumin seeds, green chilly and other ingredients in a microwave.   5. Add the Bay leaf, dry red chilli,cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom pods, star anise, ginger garlic paste, cloves and sauté for 2 minutes until you get a sweet aroma
  6. Next add the boiled peas and corn and mix well and sauté for another 5 minutes covered
  7. Now add the rice, salt and garam masala and cook covered after mixing well for 10 minutes
  8. Take off the heat and serve garnished with caramelised onions, cashews and raisins
