  1. Prepare 500 gms paneer cut into fingers
  2. Take 2 tbsp dark soy sauce

  17. Take 2 tbsp water
  18. Make ready 1 tbsp lemon juice
  19. Take 1 tbsp honey
  20. Get 1 red chilli, seeded and finely chopped
  21. Prepare 2 tbsp peanut butter
  22. Get To taste salt

Peanut satay sauce is one of my favorite sauces. So I decided to make some paneer satay for the I have been known to make quick versions of the satay sauce using peanut butter from a bottle. How to make Paneer Satay-Paneer delicacy served with rich peanut sauce. Heat oil in a griddle or tawa.

  2. The next day, thread the paneer onto skewers.
  3. Heat oil in a griddle. Place the paneer skewers, pour extra marinade on the paneer. Keep turning the skewers, so that both the sides are evenly cooked.
  4. For the peanut sauce, heat oil in a pan. Add onion and saute till they are light golden. Add ginger and garlic and saute for a couple of minutes. Add soy sauce, peanut butter and water. Cook for a couple more minutes. Then add coconut milk, salt, honey and lemon juice. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Add the red chilli and mix well. Remove the pan from heat.
  5. Serve the paneer with the peanut sauce.

Thread the marinated paneer onto satay sticks and place on the griddle.
