  7. Add-in Ideas: Carrots…Add chopped raw with potatoes, or canned towards end of cooking. Turnips…Delicious to substitute for 1 or 2 potatoes; cook with potatoes…..I've also thought about adding a drained can of diced tomatoes. Get creative!
