  1. Get 1 ltr milk
  2. Make ready 200 gms milkmaid
  3. Make ready 3-4 Tbsp sugar (can be increased based on choice)

  6. Make ready Pinch cardamom powder
  7. Take Pistachios to garnish

Steps to make Kheer Komola:

  1. In a bowl boil milk and on low flame reduce it to 1/3 quantity
  2. Add milkmaid and stir for 6-7 mins.
  3. Add sugar and stir well. Add saffron and cardamom powder. Stir and set aside to cool completely.
  4. Peel the oranges, deseed and separate the skin. Make some part juice and retain some with skin on
  5. Add to the Kheer after it’s completely cooled down.
  6. Garnish with chopped pistachios and serve chilled
